Family Christmas Party

It is a tradition in our family to have a Christmas Party the night before Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun to get together this year, and we had a great time (as usual)! We had a traditional Christmas dinner with ham, sour cream potatoes, and "the works". We also had a lot of yummy treats (it didn't do very much for the weight-loss efforts). We always draw names and give a family gift to the family we have chosen. The kids were very excited to get a gift from their cousins. Then, my sister-in-law, Amy, played the guitar while we sang Christmas songs. We had planned to play games, but the kids had so much fun playing together, and the adults were enjoying visiting, so we never got around to it. It was a great night!

I can't believe how big the kids are! The fun thing about your pics is that it feels like I'm looking at pictures of my family! When are you coming up to play in the mounds of snow we have? :) We've sure missed having you around during the holidays!
