Today, it was pouring rain as we left church, so the kids changed out of their church clothes and immediately ran outside to play in the rain. This may not be big news for some, but since we don't get much in the way of precipitation, it is always an exciting event!
Here are Alex and McKenna sporting last year's (much too small) winter coats. They had a lot of fun with that umbrella! I love how kids can make such fun out of the simple things in life!
Maya was actually scared of the rain at first because it was raining really hard. But then I told her it was kind of like taking a shower, and she started having fun. She said she was having a "shower party", which made me smile. By the time she came inside, she looked like a drowned rat--she was soaked from head to toe!
