This year, we didn't really do anything exciting for Maya and Andrew's birthdays. Andrew shares a birthday with my twin brothers, so we thought we would get together on that day and celebrate all of the family May birthdays. I felt guilty not having a friend party for Maya, but I was right in the middle of finals that week, so I opted out. At 4 years-old, she really doesn't know what she's missing, so I thought it could wait 1 more year. We tried to make their respective birthdays special for them, and I think they both had a good time. It's crazy when you have kids whose birthdays are 2 days apart. At least I can be grateful that they don't share a birthday!

Andrew & Maya's Birthdays
